Frequently Asked Questions
[] What's a poetry anthology?
In this case, it's a collection of poems made by fans, collected into one document. Kind of like a fan zine![] For free?
For free! The final product will be free to download as a digital-only, printable pdf.[] Do you have to apply to get in?
Nope! There will be a sign-up form with a link to a discord at the very end, where people planning to contribute can talk about the anthology and work together. This is a low-stakes project and we want it to be as easy as possible for people to contribute.[] Will there be restrictions on who can sign up?
Never Ending Song is open to adults 18+ who like TRIGUN and poetry, though if you have a history of participating in harassment against others or promoting bigotry, you will not be allowed to contribute.[] Will there be restrictions on the kind of poetry allowed?
Form wise, everything goes--from quatrains to sonnets to free verse and beyond, all poetry will be accepted.[] Any theme restrictions?
TRIGUN is a manga that deals with mature themes, and it only makes sense that fanworks would as well. Whether or not the anthology will be entirely SFW or allow NSFW poems will be decided after the interest check. Trigger warnings will be noted at each poet's discretion. Please note that what a poet decides to write about does not reflect their moral stances in real life, and that the mods are pro-freedom of fiction.[] Is there a harassment policy?
Absolutely. There will be zero tolerance for harassment inside and out of this anthology. This is a project meant to reflect fans' love for poetry and TRIGUN, so please be excellent to each other.[] I have a question not answered here!
No problem, send it in via the retrospring!

Head Mod
I'm a self-professed scholar of Knives-isms and overall poetry enthusiast; limericks and free verse especially, though you'll catch me experimenting with sonnets every so often. After writing a TRIGUN-inspired poetry collection last year, I wanted to create a space for others to share their own!

Maxx Ström @maxxxstrom
Co-Mod
I am a writer with an interest in dark fanfiction, transgressional fiction, and poetry. My favorite Trigun character is Knives - bro was practically reciting poems to his brother on screen.

3. Relevant trigger warnings are noted in the submission
4. Poem is no longer than 50 lines and no shorter than a haikuPoets are allowed two pages of poetry, which can contain as many poems of whatever length fits in those pages. Each page will be approximately half of an 8.5x11 sheet. Low-effort entries will not be accepted, and final submissions must be approved by the mods before inclusion into the anthology.Example poem below:
